Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using gmfautotransport.com (the "Site") or requesting any services from GMF Auto Transport ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use our Site or services.

Services

GMF Auto Transport is an auto transport broker. We facilitate the arrangement of vehicle transportation between customers and licensed, insured third-party motor carriers. We do not directly transport vehicles. All transportation is performed by independent carriers who are solely responsible for the physical shipment of your vehicle.

Quotes and Pricing

• Quotes provided on our Site are estimates based on information you supply and current market conditions.
• Final pricing is confirmed when you accept a shipment order.
• Pricing may vary due to fuel surcharges, route changes, vehicle condition discrepancies, or other factors disclosed at the time of booking.
• We reserve the right to adjust quotes if the information provided is inaccurate or incomplete.

Booking and Payment

• A deposit or full payment may be required at the time of booking, as specified in your order confirmation.
• Remaining balances are typically due to the carrier upon delivery, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• All fees are in U.S. dollars.

Cancellations and Refunds

• You may cancel your order prior to a carrier being assigned. Cancellations after carrier assignment may be subject to a cancellation fee as disclosed in your order confirmation.
• Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 5-10 business days.
• We are not responsible for costs incurred due to delays caused by factors outside our control, including weather, mechanical issues, or carrier availability.

Vehicle Condition and Inspection

• You are responsible for ensuring your vehicle is in proper condition for transport (functional brakes, no excessive leaks, etc.) unless otherwise agreed.
• A Bill of Lading (BOL) will be completed at pickup and delivery. You or your designated representative must inspect the vehicle and note any pre-existing or new damage on the BOL before signing.
• Signing the BOL without noting damage constitutes acceptance of the vehicle in the condition delivered.
• Claims for damage must be filed within 24 hours of delivery.

Insurance and Liability

• Carriers are required by federal law to carry cargo insurance. Coverage levels vary by carrier and are disclosed upon request.
• GMF Auto Transport, as a broker, is not liable for loss or damage to your vehicle during transport. All claims must be filed directly with the carrier.
• We recommend you review your personal auto insurance policy for any supplemental coverage during transport.
• GMF Auto Transport's total liability to you for any claim arising from our brokerage services shall not exceed the amount of fees paid to us for the order in question.

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use our Site or services to:

• Provide false or misleading information about yourself or your vehicle
• Violate any applicable federal, state, or local laws or regulations
• Transmit any harmful, offensive, or unauthorized content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data

Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of GMF Auto Transport or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE AND OUR BROKERAGE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, GMF AUTO TRANSPORT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR SERVICES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GMF Auto Transport and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Site or services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which our principal place of business is located, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall first be submitted to good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be settled by binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Site or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
